Suikerbekkie Preserves was founded in 2020 and inspired by the kindness and generosity of a farmer in the Kamanassie mountain region. Our Founders were allowed to pick figs and apples from one of the orchards, which gave them the idea to develop a business that would highlight South African farming communities.
Suikerbekkie offers a selection of delicious jams, each of which is artfully made. There is a flavour to satisfy every palate, from the spiced fig jam to the apricot jam, blueberry jam, sweet orange marmalade, honey and lemon marmalade, and traditional strawberry jam. Additionally, the brand recently introduced a limited-edition gooseberry jam to the product line.
